In this research phase, I was exposed to American History and with the group, I looked at Human Migration to and within the United States. In addition to the graphics, we documented the research and design concept.

The town of Vanport, which was proposed originally to create housing for Kaiser’s shipyard workers. Vanport was a culturally isolated place until it washed out by the flood in 1948. As a design proposal, I would like to highlight this sense of isolation at a personal level.
